Quite a busy week actually. Besides normal home life, work, and school, we also just seemed to have done a lot.
We went to Penny Post because the Traveler’s Notebook stamp caravan stopped there this week. We got a print of my brother-in-law’s photo to hang in our kitchen. We made more progress on the library. We went to the Farmer’s Market at City Hall. We made a late night walk to the river to watch the tall ship Providence go through the Wilson bridge drawbridge.
Oh, and our old house is under contract after just a couple days on the market. So that happened too. Fingers crossed for a smooth next few weeks.

Loved all the photos—definitely a different way of life in Alexandria. How often do they have the farmers market?
Every Saturday, rain or shine! George Washington used to send his produce from Mount Vernon to be sold here. Crazy.
