Not my favorite week. Work was overwhelming. The washer/dryer saga continued. And the weather downright sucked. But that week is behind me. All I can do is put my head down, tackle the to-do list at work, and make more calls about the laundry appliances. Tomorrow is a new day!
There were a few bright spots amidst the doom and gloom this week though:
- My dad and his girlfriend were in town this weekend, so we got to celebrate his 79th birthday with him. Tomorrow he heads to National Harbor across the river to speak at an Air Force event.
- I got a new fountain pen and new ink
- I took lots of walks this week to clear my head
- The daughter came over twice for dinner
