The week started off slow; just work and school really. Then Wednesday and Thursday were smoke-filled from the wildfires in Canada. Really hoping folks are safe and they get everything under control. Then this weekend was a mix of chores, school, and fun.
The wife and I took a cooking class at Sur La Table. We tried to go for a bike ride, but one of our new bike locks froze shut and we had to use wire cutters to cut through. Surprisingly a little too easy, so we’re getting new locks. Then the wife’s bike turns out to have a slightly bent back rim, so we’ve got to do something about that now. I picked up my new fountain pen that I had ordered a couple weeks ago! The dogs got groomed. And we had work start on our backyard.
