I was a little vague last week about changes coming because a lot was up in the air. But things are firming up and now I can say the wife and I have decided to move. We’re looking at Old Town Alexandria and have put an offer on a townhouse. If all goes well, we’ll be closing in a few weeks and listing our house soon!
Since we moved here over 20 years ago, we’ve always talked about Old Town as a dream. We just love the history, architecture, walkability, and convenience. After the crappy 2021 and 2022 we had, we were reminded that life is short. We determined that this dream was important enough to make happen.
The wife and I brought the dogs down to Old Town this weekend to walk around and soak in the neighborhood. Wish us luck, send good vibes!
