Early Adopter, Late to the Party

I’ve been an “early adopter” most of my life. I’ve always loved the newest gadgets. I’ve tried to stay up-to-date on the latest tech. In my career, I’ve often been the person tagged to test out a new implementation or setting up a new application/server. I love it.

Somehow, much to my dismay, I’m now last on the list for rollouts at my current company. I’m no longer in a tech-forward role so I guess they just see me as another number. I’ve asked to be early on the list, but it falls on deaf ears. It’s frustrating to *WANT* to use the tools available to others, to test, to provide feedback but not be able to because they haven’t pushed to my user profile yet. **sigh**
