The rest of the family flew out to California this week to finally have my mother-in-law’s memorial. We had a great one planned over New Years but a wildfire had different plans. So they spread her ashes in the San Francisco Bay then drove around Northern California to visit her old hangouts and reminisce. I wish I could’ve been there. But I burned through my PTO over Christmas and am taking the world’s hardest grad course right now. Which worked out fine because then I could take care of the house full of animals. I also had a doctor’s appointment and an eye doctor appointment this week. It also rained pretty much all week here. So yeah, I’m totally jealous they all got to go … but glad they got to.
