I’ve never purchased a tracking tag or Tile. I just don’t lose “important” things that I would need to put a tracking tag on. I’m very diligent about where I put my keys, glasses, wallet, etc. However, I do lose all sorts of little things; like a cheap notebook stencil I recently lost. But I’m not going to spend $20 on a Tile tag to track a $5 notebook stencil. shrug
